1 hour can MAKE A DIFFERENCE in a child’s life. Become a volunteer and make a difference in a child’s life. We have been supporting youth in the community for over 15 years and we are always looking for volunteers like you, to join our team. We assist youth ages 4-17 with homework help by using a variety of different tools and online resources. Our tutoring sessions have switched to online because of Covid so the way to get involved simply requires a computer, 1hr and a click. We are especially interested in Math and Reading Tutors for our youth. A mandatory orientation and background check are required for all tutors before they can begin tutoring and we ask that tutors be at least 17yrs old or older to apply. Tutors under 18 must have their parents’ consent and support to participate. During Covid tutoring sessions will continue to be held online via “Zoom”. Once candidates are fully vetted, they will receive additional information on how to get started. Tutoring sessions are held Wednesday from 5:30-6:30pm and subjects include Math, Reading Grammar and Spelling.
