Curriculum Targets

Hitting the Mark

It is hard to believe with all of the technological advances and resources available in many of our schools, we still have children in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades that have difficulty reading or identifying parts of speech. By recognizing these deficiencies early and proactively addressing each child’s need, we have seen dramatic changes in the grades, abilities and self esteem in many of these youth.

The RGOH curriculum focuses on literacy and mathematics by using various educational programs, resources, software, and hands-on interactive activities to improve outcomes in the areas of  phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, problem solving, while teaching real life application. This approach addresses different learning styles in youth and helps to improve grades and build confidence, while empowering youth to succeed.
